The FDNY Pipes and Drums will be playing at the LODD Funeral for Fireman Jamel Sears, Fireman Sears was a probationary fireman who collapsed while training at Randalls Island. The band will send him off with the honor and respect that he deserves. It is with deep regret that the FDNY Pipes and Drums announce the passing of Lieutenant Robert Ryan of Engine 155 in Staten Island, the lieutenant was fatally injured while operating at a second-alarm fire at 39 Van Buren St. in the New Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island. As always the Pipe Band will be there to send him off with the respect that he deserves. Rest in Peace Brother.
