Bronk was a member of FDNY Rescue 4\,Sqaud 1 &\; Ladder 146. He along with 342 other FDNY members made the supreme sacrifice on 9/11/01 at The World Trade Center. He was a 9 year member of the FDNY Football Team\, the FDNY Emerald Society Pipe &\; Drums. He was also a member of the Hempstead Fire Department\, Hempstead Flukes Drill Team and alumnus of the CW Post College Football Team.
